Insurance Consumer Assistance
If you have an insurance question or problem, call the Florida toll-free Insurance Consumer Helpline at 1-800-342-2762 or our TDD line at 1-800-640-0886. In addition, the Department of Insurance will send a specially trained group called "First Responders" to stricken parts of Florida after a hurricane or major natural disaster. These volunteers can answer questions and provide additional insurance and contact information, when assigned to your area.
You may also contact one of the Local Offices for Insurance Consumer Services nearest you.
