COMPTROLLER'S MEMORANDUM NO. 14 (1993-94)
SUBJECT: SETTLEMENT OF CLAIMS AGAINST THE STATE
Chapter 94-181, Laws of Florida,
amends Section 45.062, Florida Statutes, effective July 1, 1994.
Therefore, effective July 1, item 3. of the information to be
submitted with proposed or provisional settlement agreements pursuant
to Comptroller's Memorandum No. 4 (1987-88) is amended to read:
| 3. | Copies of the notices required
to be given the President of the Senate,
Speaker of the House
of Representatives, Senate and House minority
leaders, and the
Attorney General pursuant to Section 45.062, Florida Statutes; |
In addition, we will be reviewing
the agreements for compliance with the new Section 45.062(3),
Florida Statutes, regarding the pledging of any current or future
action of another branch of State government as a condition for
settling civil actions.
