Return Premium Information - Queensway Casualty Insurance Company

Will I get a refund if I paid my premiums in advance?

Yes, if you file a Receiver's proof of claim form by the filing deadline (January 18, 2002), which occurs within one year of the date of the Order of Liquidation. You and/or the premium finance company should receive a pro-rata payment of unearned premium less a $100.00 statutory deductible from FIGA. At this time, the Receiver does not anticipate any payment on unearned premium claims of $100 or less.

Can I get my refund without going through the proof of claim form process?

No. All unearned premium claims will be processed by submitting a proof of claim form to the Receiver.  Currently, due to the financial condition of Queensway Casualty Insurance Company, the Receiver does not anticipate any payment on unearned premium claims of $100 or less.
