  1. The Three-Member Panel has issued its biennial report [170K PDF] on methods for improving the workers’ compensation medical delivery system.
  2. The Division of Insurance Fraud, Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Fraud and the Division of Workers’ Compensation, Bureau of Compliance issue a joint report summarizing their respective efforts and activities in combating workers’ compensation fraud and employer non-compliance:

Employee Notification Letter - This notification letter will satisfy the statutory requirement in s.440.185(12), Florida Statutes that the employer or carrier provide the employee with written notice of the availability of the services offered by the Employee Assistance and Ombudsman Office in the form and manner determined by the Department. The notification shall be mailed or hand-delivered to the injured employee within three days after the employer/carrier receives notice of the employee's injury.
