*MEDIA ADVISORY*: State Fire Marshal Explosives K-9 Bella to Attend Opening of Max in Orlando


ORLANDO, Fla. – To celebrate the opening of the movie Max, a story about a military explosives K-9, Cobb Cinema Café has invited State Fire Marshal explosives K-9 Bella and her handler, Detective Monty Taylor, to conduct live demonstrations on Saturday, June 27th at its location on South Orange Avenue.

Bella, a 4-year-old German Shepherd, is specially trained to detect and locate the presence of materials used in the construction of explosive devices.  Bella completed an extensive 13-week training program with the Tampa Police Department’s K-9 Unit, and she is certified through the nationally-recognized American Police Work Dog Association.

Detective Monty Taylor and K-9 Bella will explain the purpose of explosive K-9s in civilian police work and demonstrate commonly used search techniques.
